PEMBROKE REGIONAL SILVER STICK HOCKEY TOURNAMENT 2010

Attention Major AA, A, B, C, Competitive Teams:

Atom / Peewee / Bantam / Midget

Registration will open July 5,2010 for the 26th Annual Pembroke Regional Silver Stick Hockey Tournament. 

Please note the following:

The AA category is only offered in the Bantam & Midget divisions at this tournament. 

Each team will be guaranteed a minimum of three games. All games will consist of two 10-minute stop-time periods, and one 12-minute stop-time period.   

All championships will be decided by semi-finals followed by a championship game.

In each age division, championships will be held in AA, A, B, and C categories. Teams will be assigned categories by International Silver Stick guidelines.

NO MINOR TEAMS will be accepted in any age division.

The registration fee of $750.00 must accompany your application. (NO POST-DATED CHEQUES ! )

Please note that there will be no gate admission for any of the games.

Please go to our Registration Link ( after July 4 ) where you will be able to register by mail, fax, or on-line.
Silver Stick will acknowledge receipt of your application and cheque by return mail. This acknowledgement will include a registration number which you will need to book hotel space during the tournament.  The hotels will only accept reservations from teams already registered with the tournament. Please contact your convener for any concerns.

Team List Procedure:   Deadline date of Oct. 20

Please go to the Team List Link where you will be able to send your team lists by snail mail, email, or fax. A deadline of Oct. 20 for the boys is required for inclusion of your players' names and numbers in our program. Do not hold up your team list for final player changes, these can be made later or at sign-in.

 

Eligibility:

At tournament sign-in, team officials must present certified proof of registration and eligibility for all players and team officials, including affiliate players.. If you are uncertain about the eligibility or documentation of any individual or team, contact your Silver Stick convener for conformation. It is expected that each Regional winner will proceed to the International Silver  Stick Championships in Sarnia, Port Huron, or Forest. 

Please note: Passports may be required for the Peewee A, B and Bantam A, B division finals in Port Huron.   

 

Travel Permit:

All teams outside the ODMHA participating at the Pembroke Regional will require a travel permit from their Association. 

          
Accommodations:  

To assist you with finding accommodations, a list of motels is on this website as well. You will require your tournament registration number to book motels, so you must register with the Tournament before booking motels. Your Pembroke Regional Silver Stick Committee is looking forward to being your hosts in Pembroke for this 26th anniversary of our Regional Silver Stick Hockey Tournament.
